Throughout its years of operation, the company has continuously expanded its capabilities to provide a full range of diversified and specialized engineering services and products. Today, Jenet Engineering and Industry PLC operates from a modern production facility in Gelan, Addis Ababa, where up to 100 employees are involved in design, engineering, drafting, manufacturing, testing, and commissioning of a wide variety of fabricated steel products.

A modern manufacturing base in Gelan, Addis Ababa
Jenet Engineering and Industry PLC operates a strategically located manufacturing facility in Gelan Town, approximately 28 kilometers from the center of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The facility includes a fully equipped fabrication workshop, storage facilities, and administrative offices across a total site area of 10,000 square meters, including a 7,000 square meter workshop. The spacious workshop enables multiple projects to be carried out simultaneously while maintaining a safe working environment, with vehicle access, loading and unloading areas, an open storage yard, and excellent road connectivity.
The company has acquired an additional 10,000 square meters of adjacent land for future expansion, with planned developments including a dedicated galvanization plant and new export production capacity. Future export products include street light poles, galvanized pipes, W-beam pedestrian guards, and additional fabricated steel products — positioning Jenet Engineering to serve markets across East Africa and beyond.
Advanced CNC fabrication
Jenet Engineering and Industry PLC utilizes advanced CNC manufacturing technologies, including a CNC tandem hydraulic press brake, a CNC light pole door cutting machine, and CNC punching machines, alongside plasma and oxy-acetylene cutting, submerged arc and arc welding, gantry-type H-beam welding, heavy-duty rolling, and overhead crane lifting equipment. The combination of advanced CNC automation and experienced engineering professionals enables higher manufacturing accuracy, reduced material waste, faster production, lower production costs, and consistent quality.
